Privacy Policy

Resume Curator helps you tailor your existing resume to specific job descriptions. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address and, if you sign up with Google, the details your Google account shares with us. We use this to create and secure your account.
  • Resume content: the resume you provide, either pasted as text or uploaded as a file (such as PDF, DOCX, or TXT).
  • Job descriptions: the job description text you paste for a given curation.
  • Curated output and history: the tailored resume we generate, saved alongside the original resume and job description so you can revisit and compare versions.

How we use your information

Your resume and the job description are sent to the AI service that powers the curation so it can produce a version of your resume tailored to that role. The original resume, the job description, and the curated result are then saved to your private history, which is tied to your account.

We use your account email to authenticate you, keep you signed in, and send service-related messages when necessary. We do not sell your information.

How your data is stored and protected

Your saved curated resumes are stored in your account and are scoped to you, so other users cannot see your resume content or history. Uploaded resume files are stored so the curation process can read their contents.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we apply reasonable measures to protect your information and access to your account.

AI and your data

Resume Curator uses an AI service to generate your tailored resume from the resume and job description you provide. We do not use your resume content or job descriptions to train AI models.

How long we keep your data

Your saved curated resume versions remain in your account until you delete them. You can delete any saved version from your history at any time within the app. Your account stays active until you ask us to delete it.

Your choices

  • Delete individual curated resume versions from your history at any time.
  • Choose to paste your resume as text or upload a file — you decide what you submit.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
